Q: When is the best time to plant daylilies?
A: In zones 7 and 8, the best times are September, October, April and May. Do not plant in November, December or January.
Q: How do I get blooms to last all summer?
A: Plant varieties that bloom at different times. For example, planting some early bloomers along with some midseason and late bloomers will provide you with blooms during the entire blooming season. Planting repeaters will also provide you with more blooms. |
